You’re Welcome Here
We’re glad you’re considering visiting First Baptist Church of Manteno!

What is it like?

Our service is centered on worshiping God through biblical teaching, prayer, and congregational singing. You’ll find a welcoming environment with people of all ages who are glad to see you. Whether you’ve been in church for years or are just beginning to explore faith, you’ll find a place here.

What about my kids?

We love families and are glad to welcome children of all ages. Age-appropriate classes and activities are available during our services, where kids can learn about Jesus in a safe and caring environment. If you have questions when you arrive, we’ll be happy to help you find the right place for your child.

Where do I park?

Parking is available near the church building, with convenient access to the main entrance. If it’s your first visit, feel free to arrive a few minutes early so we can help you get oriented.

What do I wear?

You’ll see a range of attire, from casual to more traditional. Wear what makes you comfortable — we’re more concerned that you feel welcome than what you’re wearing.

How long is the service?

Our worship services typically last about an hour. This includes singing, prayer, and a message from God’s Word.

How can I get connected?

Getting connected is easy. You’re welcome to speak with our pastor, visit a Sunday School class, or simply introduce yourself to someone around you. We’d love to help you find ways to grow in faith and build meaningful relationships within our church family.
